Our story

From Cécile to CBCI

Before CBCI: an international journey

For 20 years, Cécile was export sales director at a high-end textile company. She opened 65 markets internationally, structured and trained sales teams, and helped grow the company from 2 to 70 employees (50 of them dedicated to export) and from €9M to €23M in revenue. Thanks to this strategic vision and her hands-on sense of the field, the company became a world leader in its sector.

2010: the birth of CBCI

Driven by the desire to put her experience at the service of other companies, Cécile founded CBCI — International Development Consulting. Her goal: to help French companies grow abroad and showcase Made in France through tailor-made support.

Key milestones

    Creation of CBCI: launch of the first consulting missions for French SMEs.

  2. 2018

    Opening up to digital: rollout of multichannel prospecting strategies (LinkedIn, emailing, virtual trade shows).

  3. 2020

    Strengthened international support: helping companies in 10 new countries despite the health crisis.

  4. 2023

    More than 3,000 contacts in 65 countries, partnerships with the CCI, Business France and networks of experts across Europe.

  5. 2024-2025

    Integration of the training and certified professional coaching offer.

  6. 2025

    Establishment on the island of La Réunion.

Cécile brings more than 30 years of experience in international trade, more than 30 years spent building a strong, global network, and more than 30 years of passion for business and its challenges. Her favourite playgrounds? Europe, Asia and the United States, which she has visited, discovered and rediscovered many times over. Fully devoted to her exporters, she helps you define the issues at stake and delivers strategic solutions to address them.
